our programs

transition program

Navigating the transition from school to work can be very complicated. It can be even more difficult for a student with a disability.

There Are Many Things To Consider:

  • What are my strengths and interests?
  • What type of job will I be able to get?
  • Where will I live?
  • How do I begin to access the community services that I will need?

The Transition Program is designed for young adults with different abilities ages 18-21. Students needing special education services outside of a 9th-12th grade curriculum in order to meet their own unique post-secondary transition goals.

Our team focuses on helping its students acquire competitive core employability skills based upon each student’s needs. Students are provided the instruction they need to improve their work related academic skills and to learn needed independent living skills. We assist our students with all aspects of community integration to make the transition to adult life as smooth and successful as possible.
